Do You Journal?

So as you guys know, I have journals in the shop. I'm someone who loves to journal and I encourage everyone to get a journal to really get their inner monologue out in a healthy way.

I wanted this portion of the website to be somewhere to give those who can't think of anything to journal or simply don't know where to start to get an idea of what journaling looks like for me in hopes of giving a place to start.

Personally, since I've been journaling for almost a decade now I've learned to be 100% vunerable with myself and that's where you start. In your journal ask yourself:

"How am I feeling today?"
"How did today make me feel?"
"Am I Happy?"
"Is something bothering me?"

Those to me are good ways to start opening up to yourself and getting yourself comfortable with being vulnerable. Journaling doesn't always need a prompt. A lot of the time I literally just write whatever the little voice in my head is saying. It's as easy as that. Over time I learned how to turn inwards in moments of discomfort by using my journal and opening up with myself and being honest about the situation and how I handled it. Journaling isn't consistent either. I haven't even seen my journal in months so don't beat yourself up about it. The journal is literally the tool to teach you how to give yourself grace.

Good luck, friend.
